Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Housekeeping Associate in South Goa district. The role focuses on cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, shared spaces, and facilities to uphold strong standards of hygiene and presentation. Work includes making beds, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restocking supplies, and managing laundry tasks such as washing, drying, and folding linens. The associate will also communicate maintenance concerns, follow sanitation and safety procedures, and respond to guest requests courteously and promptly. Success in this role depends on coordination with teammates, adherence to supervisor guidance, consistent quality, and punctuality.

Key Duties

• Keep guest rooms, common areas, and other facilities clean, orderly, and presentable.
• Make beds and carry out routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Replenish room and facility supplies as needed.
• Handle laundry work, including washing, drying, folding, and caring for linens, towels, and guest clothing.
• Identify and report maintenance problems to the appropriate team.
• Follow hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times.
• Respond to guest requests in a polite, efficient, and professional manner.
• Work closely with other staff members and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Maintain steady work quality and arrive on time for scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

Candidates should be well organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a variety of housekeeping tasks. A basic understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and the safe use of cleaning products is expected. The role also requires good communication and customer service skills for respectful interaction with guests and colleagues. Applicants should be physically able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items during the shift. Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality is helpful but not required. A dependable attitude, punctuality, and willingness to work as part of a team are important. The position also includes openness to basic training on cleaning methods and safety practices.
