Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate and review variable compensation to ensure the figures are accurate and reasonable.
  • Assist with identifying and posting personnel-related accruals.
  • Evaluate headcount metrics and cost trends.
  • Support financial planning and analysis activities.
  • Help with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Perform target-versus-actual comparisons and investigate deviations.
  • Assist in planning and forecasting cycles.
  • Prepare and format reports for group-level stakeholders.
  • Support the annual closing process in close coordination with accounting.

Requirements

  • A completed degree in economics or a related field such as business administration, economics, finance, or controlling, or you are close to graduating.
  • Initial practical exposure to controlling through internships or student work is an advantage.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of accounting, controlling, and financial or budget planning.
  • Confident use of Microsoft Excel, especially for data analysis and presentation.
  • Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • First exposure to business intelligence tools and database processing such as SQL or Power Query is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical thinking, a structured approach to work, and a high affinity for numbers.
  • Team-oriented mindset, willingness to learn, and proactive attitude.
