Junior Data Analyst (Entry / Junior Level)

Role overview

This part-time, remote Junior Data Analyst position supports the organization’s programs by converting raw information into useful insights. The role is focused on helping the team understand the impact of its activities and make better decisions based on evidence.

What you will do

• Gather data from club activities, events, and outreach efforts, then clean and organize it for reporting.
• Build simple dashboards, charts, and summary reports to track outcomes.
• Support basic data modelling work and carry out straightforward statistical analysis.
• Share findings with leadership in a way that is easy for non-technical audiences to understand.
• Work closely with project leads and committee members to support data-informed planning across programs.

Qualifications and profile

• Strong analytical ability and a good foundation in data analysis.
• Basic understanding of statistics and core data modelling ideas.
• Clear communication skills for presenting insights to varied audiences.
• Comfort using spreadsheets or similar tools such as Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL or Python is an added advantage.
• Interest in community service and initiatives connected to women’s empowerment and education.
• Ability to work independently from a remote setup, manage time well, and collaborate with different teams.
• Studying, or recently completed a course in, data science, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related discipline is beneficial.
