Key responsibilities

• Gather data from different internal and external sources, then clean, verify, and arrange it for analysis.
• Study datasets to uncover trends, patterns, unusual movements, and business opportunities.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visual summaries that support day-to-day and strategic decisions.
• Help build and maintain business intelligence reporting and analytics solutions.
• Track KPIs and other business performance measures.
• Run data checks and quality reviews to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Handle ad-hoc reporting, data pulls, and analysis requests from stakeholders.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and business goals.
• Document data workflows, methods, reporting practices, and analytical procedures.
• Contribute to process improvements by sharing data-backed recommendations and insights.
• Support data governance, compliance, and data quality activities.
• Keep up to date with analytics tools, reporting technologies, and current industry practices.

Requirements

Candidates should have a working understanding of data analysis, statistics, and reporting basics. Strong Excel skills are important, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and built-in analysis functions. SQL knowledge for querying and extracting data is preferred. Familiarity with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio is an added advantage. A basic grasp of databases, data structures, and data management concepts is expected. Knowledge of Python, R, or similar analytical tools will be considered a plus. The role also calls for strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, clear communication, and good presentation skills. Applicants should be able to manage multiple priorities and work within deadlines. A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.
