About the Role

Herschel Supply is hiring a Key Holder for the Banff store. This position is a step above a Sales Associate and carries added responsibility for guiding the sales floor, supporting daily store operations, and keeping the team energized when store leadership is not present. The role involves setting the pace on shift, supporting and coaching teammates, and helping ensure every customer has a memorable in-store experience.

What You’ll Do

• Handle store opening and closing duties while keeping operations on schedule.
• Take charge of the sales floor by organizing priorities and assigning tasks during the shift.
• Assist customers with enthusiasm, product knowledge, and a high standard of service.
• Support and coach Sales Associates with feedback, direction, and encouragement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store presentation.
• Manage incoming stock, replenishment, and floor preparation activities.
• Process transactions accurately using POS and mobile tools.
• Keep performance goals in focus and motivate the team toward shared KPIs.
• Respond to customer issues and help turn concerns into positive outcomes.
• Stay informed about product launches, brand campaigns, and store events, and help execute them with the team.

What We’re Looking For

• A dependable team leader who can motivate others and create momentum on shift.
• Retail experience, ideally in a Key Holder role or at an experienced Sales Associate level.
• A warm, genuine, and confident approach to customer interaction.
• Strong communication skills for both coaching colleagues and helping shoppers.
• Good organization and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
• Confidence to make decisions independently when management is unavailable.
• Availability for weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events.
• A growth-oriented mindset with openness to feedback and continuous learning.
• Visual merchandising or inventory handling experience is an advantage.

Schedule and Availability

Full-time Key Holders are expected to work 25 to 40 hours per week. The schedule includes opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. At least one full weekend day of availability is required. Part-time availability is 24 hours per week or less.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $19.50 to $20.75 per hour, depending on experience.
