Key Responsibilities

• Carry out ride, slide, and attraction operations whenever required for operational support.
• Protect the safety of guests, colleagues, and contractors at all times.
• Be prepared to work outdoors in water, at heights, and in very hot conditions throughout the year.
• Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and internal procedures for ride dispatch and guest safety.
• Keep rescue and basic life support skills continuously at a test-ready standard.
• Comply with department training requirements and standards.
• Help move furniture, ride vehicles, and equipment into and out of the park.
• Communicate in basic spoken English.
• Be available for night shifts, evening shifts, and holiday work.
• Maintain a friendly, welcoming, and approachable attitude.
• Work effectively in a diverse team and demonstrate cultural awareness.
• Take on other duties assigned by management.

Job Essentials

• Corrected or uncorrected vision of 20/25.
• Ability to swim at least 50 meters continuously using front crawl or breaststroke.
• Ability to swim underwater at a depth of 1.4 meters for 3 meters and recover a 10-pound brick.
• Ability to keep lifeguard skills test-ready in line with the International Lifeguard Training Program.
• Basic spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the International Lifeguard Training Program or a comparable program.
• Swimming background.
• UAE driver’s license or buggy license.
• SCUBA certification.
• Prior experience as a lifeguard.
• Previous guest service experience.
• Ability to swim 200 meters continuously using front crawl or breaststroke.
• Ability to recover a 10-pound brick from the deepest water at 5 meters.
• Ability to tread water for 2 minutes without using the arms.
• Intermediate or stronger English skills in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Basic spoken Arabic.
