Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position in Greenwich, CT is for a Manager, Client Operations who will act as the main connector between client brands and internal teams. The role requires someone who can keep projects moving smoothly from concept to commercialization in a busy, multi-brand, entrepreneurial setting. The successful candidate will balance client relationship management, cross-functional coordination, and strong operational follow-through, while also overseeing end-to-end cost management.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the day-to-day lead for assigned client brands and build strong, lasting working relationships.
- Represent the client internally and make sure goals, timelines, and expectations are communicated clearly and delivered on.
- Run recurring client check-ins, progress meetings, and project review sessions.
- Develop relationships across multiple levels of the customer organization to support decisions and strengthen engagement.
- Act as a dependable advisor by understanding client objectives and matching them with company capabilities.
- Travel when needed to meet and support clients at their own locations.
Project and Product Coordination
- Oversee client programs from the first brief through formulation, packaging integration, scale-up, and production.
- Coordinate product development work including formula creation, testing, validation, and commercialization milestones.
- Handle the costing process from target cost development through final actual cost reconciliation.
- Confirm that packaging components, artwork, and product specifications meet both regulatory and manufacturing needs.
- Spot opportunities for account growth, including new products, broader assortments, and seasonal launches.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Development, Packaging Engineering, Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
- Convert client needs into clear internal plans, documentation, timelines, and action items.
- Identify potential issues early and help drive solutions across teams.
Documentation and Process Control
- Keep project records accurate and current, including briefs, specifications, schedules, and approvals.
- Support correct setup of new items, pricing changes, and promotional entries.
- Assist with costing reviews and forecasting alongside internal stakeholders.
- Ensure work follows internal procedures, quality expectations, and GMP standards.
