About the Role

This position is for an experienced Manager of Data Management & Operations who will strengthen the organization’s data practices. The role centers on data governance, data quality, metadata oversight, and lifecycle management while keeping internal processes and regulatory obligations fully aligned. The role contributes directly to informed business decisions by helping the company make the best use of its data assets.

Responsibilities

• Direct initiatives that improve data quality so information remains accurate, complete, consistent, and dependable.
• Manage the full data lifecycle, including how data is created, stored, used, archived, and removed under retention rules.
• Build and sustain metadata repositories that make data easier to find, understand, and use across the business.
• Make sure information from all relevant sources is captured and used effectively to meet business goals.
• Analyze data and turn findings into practical insights that support decision-making.
• Track data quality issues, apply fixes, and uphold strong data integrity standards.
• Create dashboards and performance reports to measure the impact of data management and governance efforts.
• Assist in rolling out governance structures, policies, standards, and operating procedures for data.
• Work with different stakeholders to encourage a data-focused mindset and improve overall organizational performance.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or a higher qualification in Information Technology, Data Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar area.
• Between 6 and 10 years of relevant experience in data management, data governance, data quality, or closely related work.
• Prior experience leading data management programs in large-scale organizations is strongly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, data privacy, and data lifecycle practices.
• Hands-on experience with data analytics, reporting, and measuring performance.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance expectations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
