Role overview
Join a busy food production environment where your day-to-day work will help produce high-quality meat products efficiently and safely. This position is practical and hands-on, with a strong focus on accuracy, hygiene, and output standards.
Hourly pay is set at £14.40.
What you will do
- Trim and cut meat precisely to required specifications.
- Set and fine-tune machinery to match product needs.
- Check items for quality factors such as size, weight, colour, and packaging condition.
- Spot production issues and either fix them quickly or escalate them without delay.
- Prepare products for shipping through packing, labelling, and wrapping.
- Assist with incoming and outgoing goods workflows.
- Keep track of stock and use scanning systems to record products.
- Run mince and mixing equipment as required.
- Follow strict rules for food safety, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness.
