About the role
The Operations Associate plays an important part in the store team, helping improve efficiency and profitability across day-to-day retail operations. This position partners closely with the Operations & Visual Manager and the Operations Lead to complete tasks, share observations, and support the team in delivering strong store results.

Key responsibilities
- Run inventory processes with accuracy as a priority, helping reduce shrink and improve stock reliability.
- Look into inventory discrepancies, identify the underlying causes, and work with the General Manager when system or process issues need escalation.
- Handle core store operations such as shipments, receiving, processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, replenishment during the day, floor set changes, and supply coordination.
- Keep the sales floor visually polished and aligned with brand standards.
- Help manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities so these areas stay organized and effective.
- Maintain a safe and efficient stockroom through strong standards and routines.
- Stay active on the retail floor to understand business, team, and guest needs and respond quickly.
- Support company-wide operational projects and initiatives in partnership with the Operations & Visual Manager and Operations Lead.
- Assist with shipment processing and product flow, including visual merchandising placement and consistent replenishment execution.
- Use business metrics to make informed decisions and support sales-driving actions.
- Address customer needs promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
- Spot product-related concerns and communicate inventory requirements to help business goals.
- Provide support in other areas such as Sales & Service and Cashier when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role with exposure to sales and operations is preferred.
- A strong commitment to customer service and memorable guest experiences is essential.
- The role suits someone energetic, positive, and able to bring enthusiasm into daily work.
- Must be self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable succeeding both individually and as part of a team.
- Should be able to build trust and connection through empathy, compassion, integrity, and genuine relationship-building.
- Physical capability is required to lift, push, carry, or move up to 50 pounds.
- Candidate must be able to bend, kneel, climb, crawl, twist, and safely use a ladder.
- Must be capable of standing and moving throughout the full shift.
Schedule and availability
Work availability must match business needs and may change over time. The General Manager sets the schedule, which can include morning, evening, and weekend shifts. Team members must also be available to work from the week including Black Friday through the end of the holiday season, up to the first week of January.
