Role Summary

This is a full-time remote position for an Operations Manager who will oversee daily business activity and improve how work flows across the organization. The role involves coordinating work between teams, simplifying processes, and making sure products and services are delivered on time. You will work closely with customer support, marketing, finance, and other functions to keep operations aligned with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing core operational activities and improving efficiency across the company.

• Oversee day-to-day operations and look for ways to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Coordinate cross-functional processes so teams can work together smoothly.
• Help ensure products and services are delivered to customers within expected timelines.
• Partner with customer support, marketing, finance, and other teams to support business goals.
• Manage relationships with vendors and external partners as needed.
• Assist with budget planning and resource allocation.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and operational standards.
• Contribute to documentation, process guides, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong background in operations leadership, including process improvement, workflow planning, and monitoring performance.
• Hands-on experience with project management approaches, tools, and practices for coordinating cross-team work.
• Ability to analyze data, review reports, and use KPIs to spot trends and support decisions.
• Comfort using digital tools for spreadsheets, project tracking, and team communication.
• Clear writing and speaking skills for communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities, and deliver on deadlines.
• Experience leading people or coordinating team workloads is an advantage.
• Exposure to health, wellness, biotechnology, or genomics is beneficial but not mandatory.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations/Supply Chain Management, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Preference for candidates based in Honolulu, HI, though this is not required.

Additional Details

The expected compensation for this role is in the range of $80,000 to $95,000, depending on qualifications. Benefits include healthcare, vision, and dental coverage, as well as access to a company 401(k) plan.
