Role Purpose

The Operations Supervisor will oversee a team of warehousing and logistics employees to keep transportation, storage, inventory handling, and distribution running in a compliant, efficient, accurate, and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set the pace for operations so the team works efficiently while keeping costs competitive.
  • Make sure day-to-day work is carried out with strong productivity and a customer-focused approach.
  • Build a culture of respect and cooperation across the team and with other stakeholders.
  • Implement standard operating procedures for daily, weekly, and periodic activities to support strong business outcomes.
  • Drive ongoing improvements in cost-to-serve performance.

  • Track all workflows from goods receipt through replenishment and final delivery to Salehiya customers.
  • Support line managers and key staff in warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities.
  • Assist with process-improvement initiatives so company targets are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Maintain clear communication and support review meetings such as monthly performance reviews.
  • Spot opportunities to improve service levels, productivity, and route efficiency, and put practical action plans in place.
  • Work with the department manager to deliver key initiatives and projects successfully and on schedule.
  • Promote a positive and cooperative work environment.
  • Coach operational and frontline teams on process improvements and correct service delivery.
  • Plan annual leave and other leave in coordination with the operational manager.
  • Identify training needs, recommend development actions, and deliver SOP training to new joiners.
  • Use storage space, manpower, and equipment effectively.
  • Plan, utilize, and maintain machinery, equipment, consumables, and other resources properly.
  • Ensure staff follow company safety procedures, GDP practices, and Saudi road safety laws to protect the company’s reputation and assets.
  • Report unsafe conditions quickly through the appropriate departments and help correct them.
  • Follow SOPs, QMS requirements, and work instructions strictly, and ensure the team does the same.
  • Report incidents promptly and accurately with all required documentation.
  • Coordinate timely calibration of temperature sensors and equipment with purchase and maintenance teams.

Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor’s degree or diploma is required. A pharmacy-related or biomedical qualification is preferred.

Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain or related work, including at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
