Part-time Sales Assistant

About the role

Zadig&Voltaire, established in 1997, is an elevated fashion house known for premium fabrics such as cashmere, silk, and leather. The label blends wardrobe staples with a relaxed, rock-inspired attitude to create a modern take on luxury. The team is now seeking a part-time Sales Assistant for its Greater Dusseldorf area store.

What you will do

• Welcome customers warmly, approach them proactively, and use effective selling techniques through every stage of the transaction.
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with shoppers and team members.
• Support store performance goals and contribute to key metrics such as AB and UPT.
• Recommend products based on customer needs and help close sales.
• Build repeat business through strong customer relationships and follow-up on reserved items.
• Represent the brand with professionalism and a strong understanding of the collection and product range.
• Operate the till, process payments, and manage the checkout line smoothly.
• Handle customer requests such as exchanges, credit notes, and holds while following company procedures.
• Encourage customers to join the mailing list and maintain supplies such as bags and boxes.
• Coordinate stock transfers with other stores and manage defective item procedures with support from the manager.
• Keep the sales floor and stockroom organized, clean, and fully maintained.
• Receive deliveries, place merchandise on the shop floor, and replenish items according to brand standards.
• Answer phone calls promptly in a courteous and helpful manner.
• Follow loss prevention rules and take part in regular full stock counts.

What we are looking for

• At least 2 years of experience in sales, ideally within an upper-end or luxury brand environment.
• Strong interest in fashion and luxury retail.
• Confidence in advising and supporting a demanding customer base.
• A hardworking, energetic, and dynamic approach to work.
• Strong dedication to excellent customer service.

This is a part-time onsite position based in the Greater Dusseldorf Area.
