Role overview
This role supports the People Business Partner and Deputy People Business Partner in delivering a full operational and advisory people service across the group. The post holder will handle a broad range of human resources matters and help ensure employees receive timely, practical support.
What the role involves
Working alongside the Deputy People Business Partner, you will help provide a professional people service to the Clinical Support Units and enable line managers to apply effective people management practices. You will contribute to the operational people directorate and support work that helps shape the group’s workforce direction.
You will also help make sure people policies, processes and working practices are applied consistently and fairly, supporting both organisational goals and the smooth running of the Clinical Support Units.
Ways of working
The position requires flexibility to cover Clinical Support Units and Corporate areas when colleagues are absent. You will also be expected to support other People Advisor colleagues so that workloads remain balanced and service levels stay consistent. While some work will be responsive to day-to-day issues, a proactive and solutions-oriented approach is strongly encouraged.
Where needed, you may also deputise for the Deputy People Business Partner.
