Role overview

Nursery World is hiring a ski nanny for the winter season to support its creche and children’s care services in a ski resort setting. The role involves looking after children aged 6 months to 6 years while their parents are on the slopes. Staff will be expected to deliver attentive, energetic care and help create a memorable holiday experience for each family.

Work pattern

The position includes morning and afternoon creche duties, along with some outdoor responsibilities such as supporting Toton Ski School. There will also be some evening shifts in Kiddie Club for children aged 5 to 12, as well as apres-ski support with adults.

Experience and qualification requirements

Applicants must have prior childcare experience and a childcare qualification, with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent credential. Experience working with children across different age groups is required. An up-to-date first aid certificate is preferred. The employer is looking for people who are enthusiastic, dependable, friendly, and committed to providing exceptional care.

Travel, visa, and health requirements

An EU passport is preferred. For UK applicants, work permits and visas will be arranged for successful candidates. Because the company is licensed by the French DDASS, all staff must have immunisations for diphtheria, tetanus, and polio. A measles vaccination is strongly advised, though not mandatory.
