Role overview
The Production Lead for Saudi operations is accountable for the day-to-day performance of a designated production line or shift. This is a hands-on leadership position, so you will be actively present on the shop floor, resolving equipment issues, guiding team members, and keeping operations moving to plan.
Core responsibilities
- Coordinate daily production activities so the line follows the planned schedule, including assigning shifts, rotating staff, and managing breaks.
- Make sure output consistently meets product specifications and serve as the first checkpoint for food safety, sanitation, and quality compliance.
- Enforce adherence to OSHA-related safety practices, SQF/BRC requirements, HACCP controls, and GMP standards.
- Track operational performance indicators such as throughput, yield, and labor hours, then identify constraints and recommend process improvements.
- Carry out basic troubleshooting on production equipment such as fillers, conveyors, and packaging scales, and work with Maintenance on more complex breakdowns.
- Train newly hired team members on standard operating procedures and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to strengthen performance.
- Keep complete and accurate daily records, including production reports, waste records, and safety checklists.
Experience required
Candidates should bring more than 7 years of experience in food manufacturing. Prior exposure to the food processing industry is preferred.
