Project Coordinator

Role overview

BodySpec is seeking a Project Coordinator to help manage its expanding network of facilities and support nationwide growth initiatives. This position brings together facility operations, vendor coordination, construction support, and practical problem-solving. You will partner with internal stakeholders and outside service providers to help new locations open successfully and keep current sites running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage maintenance, repair, and day-to-day operations for BodySpec facilities across the country.
• Find and coordinate vendors in new markets, including painters, sign and decal providers, electricians, and similar partners.
• Arrange utilities and internet service for newly opening storefronts.
• Purchase furniture, fixtures, and other materials needed for new location rollouts.
• Respond to facility disruptions such as internet, power, HVAC, or similar outages and oversee their resolution.
• Prepare and submit claims related to maintenance or repair work when needed.
• Lead improvement and buildout projects from site preparation through opening day.
• Work with contractors, architects, and vendors during construction and installation phases.
• Track project quality, budget, and schedule so deliverables stay on target.
• Support compliance with safety and regulatory requirements across all facilities.
• Create repeatable processes that support fast site expansion and effective facility maintenance.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions between expansion and operations workstreams.

Requirements

• Background in construction management, facilities operations, or project coordination is strongly preferred.
• Strong willingness to learn and apply technical as well as operational concepts is required.
• If you have taken standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT, ASVAB, or similar exams, you are asked to share the scores; this is optional and will not be the only factor used in hiring decisions.
• This role reports to the Production Manager and works closely with the Expansion Manager.
• The position is based in Austin, TX, with occasional travel to other regions where BodySpec operates.

Compensation

First-year Project Coordinators may earn up to $64,850 through a mix of base pay and bonuses. The starting salary is $55,000 per year. Full-time employees can also receive $500 per month in team bonuses when monthly team revenue and individual performance goals are achieved. These goals are intended to be challenging yet realistic, and monthly revenue targets were met in 9 of 12 months in 2025.

Additional information

All team members, regardless of status or position, are eligible for profit sharing and stock options. The role is full-time and based onsite in Austin, Texas. Occasional travel to other operating regions is required.
