Project Manager

Job Summary

The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of strategic initiatives for ABNO Softwares International, from early planning through final delivery. The role calls for a delivery-focused professional who can coordinate cross-functional teams, keep work aligned to business objectives, and ensure outcomes are completed on schedule and within budget. You will serve as the central connection point between clients, stakeholders, and technical teams, helping maintain clarity, accountability, and high standards throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

Project leadership and planning

• Set project scope, goals, and deliverables so they match wider business priorities.
• Create detailed project schedules, timelines, and resourcing plans.
• Run project launch meetings and make sure everyone understands expectations.

Execution and delivery

• Coordinate daily project tasks and track progress against milestones.
• Spot potential risks early and put practical mitigation actions in place.
• Deliver projects within agreed scope, timelines, and budget limits.

Stakeholder management

• Act as the main contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Share updates, status reports, and presentations with senior leadership.
• Support cross-functional collaboration to keep implementation running smoothly.

Team management

• Guide, coach, and encourage project team members to perform at a high level.
• Allocate work, keep workloads balanced, and help resolve team conflicts.
• Promote ownership, creativity, and ongoing improvement within the team.

Quality and compliance

• Make sure project work follows company policies, standards, and established practices.
• Oversee quality checks so deliverables meet expectations.
• Assist with audits and compliance reviews connected to project work.

Strategic contribution

• Recommend process improvements that support broader organizational goals.
• Provide project insights and client feedback to assist business development efforts.
• Help advance new tools and methods for project management.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, IT, or a related discipline.
• A professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master is strongly preferred.
• At least 4 years of project management experience.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex projects in technology or ERP settings.
• Solid working knowledge of project management approaches and tools such as MS Project, Jira, Trello, and ERP systems.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to handle several projects at once while working to tight deadlines.
• Leadership, team coordination, strategic thinking, and sound decision-making skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, interpersonal skills, and client relationship management.
• Professionalism, integrity, and a strong sense of accountability.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The role is focused on managing strategic projects in a technology-oriented environment, with an emphasis on delivery discipline, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement.
