Role Overview

Buddywise is hiring a Project Manager to lead global deployments and help scale its solution across major enterprise accounts. This role owns the full lifecycle of large implementation programs, from preparing and running first live rollouts to expanding deployments across clients’ international operations.

You will work at the center of product, engineering, and customer success, making sure implementation plans are aligned and delivered across teams. The work includes deploying both software and, in some cases, physical hardware. You will help manage vendors, design dependable connectivity setups, and work directly with frontline teams so they can install and adopt the solution effectively at their sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead rollout plans for large AI safety deployments, moving enterprise customers from single-site launches to live operations and broader multi-site expansion.
• Coordinate closely with product and engineering teams so technical roadmaps match on-site deployment realities.
• Oversee the hardware side of the solution, including sourcing, vendor discussions, and defining stable setups for power, internet access, and edge devices.
• Stay hands-on at installation locations and support local teams to ensure deployment runs smoothly.
• Create training resources and documentation so frontline users and technicians can install the system correctly and confidently.
• Run project communication and governance with internal teams and enterprise stakeholders, track progress, remove blockers, and report outcomes.

• Initial expansion phases are completed successfully, with real-world performance validated and feedback captured for future scale-up.

• Frontline users and technicians can set up hardware and connectivity reliably in fast-changing facility environments.
• Vendors and supply partners are secured and managed for quality, scale, and cost effectiveness.
• Product and technical teams stay aligned with customer operations, enabling fast iteration and ongoing improvement.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in project management, technical project management, or deployment operations, preferably across software and hardware rollouts.
• Strong background in managing phased deployments in complex, real-world environments such as construction sites, industrial facilities, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with vendors and hardware, including procurement, supply chain scaling, and negotiation around hardware or connectivity solutions.
• Ability to translate between technical teams and operational field workers.
• Willingness to travel to industrial sites, test workflows on-site, and gather direct feedback.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle several projects, phases, and priorities at once.
• Comfort working in a scale-up setting where priorities shift quickly and resources are limited.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Experience with computer vision, AI, or IoT deployments in industrial or construction settings is a plus.
• Background in hardware installation or network connectivity setup is a plus.
• Professional-level German or another European language is a plus.

Location and Additional Information

This role is based in Berlin. Candidates located in Stockholm will also be considered. The position involves frequent travel to client installation sites and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across functions and regions.
