Role Overview
The Project Manager is accountable for the full delivery of high-priority industrial AI implementation programs, from contract signature through deployment and realized customer value. This role serves as the central owner for project outcomes, ensuring alignment with customer strategy and measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities

- Convert use cases into measurable KPIs and facilitate value realization workshops to establish baselines and track business impact.
- Create and maintain detailed plans covering scope, timeline, staffing, budget, risk, and quality, while anticipating dependencies and blockers.
- Coordinate complex OT/IT integrations using agile ways of working and regular stakeholder engagement.
- Align delivery with customer goals such as operational excellence, safety, sustainability, and cost efficiency through reporting and executive updates.
- Keep Account Executives, Customer Business Executives, and other stakeholders informed about progress, risks, scope changes, and financial performance.
- Work with the Product team on any features or commitments included in the customer agreement, escalating gaps through governance channels as needed.
- Manage project financials, including bookings, revenue recognition, cost control, margin analysis, and forecasting.
- Serve as the main customer contact during execution, run governance routines and steering committee meetings, and present clear executive briefings.
- Track customer satisfaction, coordinate with partner vendors, and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Lead change management efforts such as training and adoption support in partnership with the Customer Business Executive.
- Act as a bridge between customers and internal teams such as Engineering, Product, and Customer Success, resolving issues and managing expectations throughout the project life cycle.
- Spot expansion opportunities by understanding customer challenges and coordinating with the right internal stakeholders.
- Use PMO playbooks and best practices while contributing lessons learned and process improvements.
Impact Expected
- Show measurable value by linking project outputs to business benefits and using data to report results.
- Keep customer outcomes at the center and continuously look for opportunities to demonstrate value.
- Deliver complex projects on time and within budget, especially in environments with integrated OT/IT systems.
- Influence technical and business stakeholders toward common goals even without formal authority.
- Capture lessons learned and help improve future delivery processes and scalability.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of project management experience in SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software delivery, ideally across complex industrial or enterprise IT/AI programs.
- Prior experience in the software industry is mandatory.
- Strong experience with SaaS implementation lifecycles, including onboarding, training, and change management.
- Proven success leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and cross-functional teams such as data scientists, engineers, and solution architects.
- Strong understanding of industrial sectors such as energy, manufacturing, chemicals, oil & gas, life sciences, utilities, power, and renewables.
- Solid financial awareness, with the ability to track realization and forecast project outcomes.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and PMO approaches such as PMP or PRINCE2 to improve delivery and manage risk.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with project tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
- Ability to travel up to 25% for customer engagements.
- Fluency in both English and German is required.
Preferred Background
