Role overview
This is a fully remote contract opportunity for a creative social media professional to support the digital presence of beauty salons and local businesses. The position sits within a fast-moving marketing team and focuses on building audience engagement, strengthening brand awareness, and producing content that resonates with each client’s audience.
What you will do
- Create, plan, and schedule social content that matches each client’s brand voice and audience preferences.
- Handle everyday publishing and community interaction on platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Track campaign and account performance using analytics, then turn the findings into regular reports and strategy updates.
- Work alongside internal teammates to make sure content supports wider marketing initiatives.
- Reply to comments, direct messages, and general inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Keep up with evolving social media trends and platform best practices, especially those relevant to beauty and local service businesses.
What we are looking for
- Proven background managing social media profiles for brands, businesses, or similar clients.
- Excellent written English and the ability to develop fresh, engaging content ideas.
- Hands-on experience with social media scheduling and management platforms such as Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later.
- Comfort working with analytics tools and using data to shape practical next steps.
- The ability to work autonomously, juggle multiple accounts, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Prior exposure to the beauty sector or local business marketing is advantageous.
- A dependable internet connection and availability to collaborate remotely.
