About the Role
A major LPG bottling facility is looking for a Scaffolding Inspector to support safe and compliant scaffolding operations at site.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily checks on all installed scaffolding before it is used, and apply the correct tag status: Green, Red, or Yellow.
- Verify that every scaffolding activity follows Qatar Energy (QE), RLIC, and recognized international safety requirements, including BS EN 12811-1, TG20, and SG4.
- Keep scaffolding inspection logs accurate, current, and ready for safety review or audit.
- Spot defects in structure, signs of overloading, or weather-related risks such as strong winds, and require immediate repair, corrective action, or dismantling when needed.
Qualification and Experience
- The role calls for more than 8 years of experience in scaffolding inspection, ideally in oil and gas, petrochemical, or LPG plant settings.
- A valid third-party scaffold inspection certification is required, such as CISRS Advanced Scaffold Inspector, CITB, or an equivalent TUV certification.
- Previous experience on Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC) or Qatar Energy (QE) projects is mandatory.
- Applicants must understand PTW (Permit to Work) procedures and be able to identify hazards effectively.
Candidate Requirements
- Candidates must already be in Qatar and hold a valid QID.
- Immediate availability to start is required.
- The company expects applicants to submit an updated CV along with experience certificates and supporting documents.
- The assignment duration is 3 months, with the possibility of extension depending on project needs.
