Senior Spa Supervisor

Role Overview

This position sits within the spa category at a hotel in Doha, Qatar, and is a full-time, non-management role based on site. The job focuses on keeping daily spa operations organized, supporting guest service, coordinating schedules, and ensuring standards are consistently met.

Core Duties

• Share property details, policy updates, in-house group information, and other relevant updates with team members.
• Respond to questions about services, hotel amenities, and general property information.
• Verify each guest’s first and last name and confirm the scheduled treatment before the service begins.
• Track the day’s schedule carefully and keep activities aligned with timing requirements.
• Communicate any last-minute changes, additions, or scheduling issues to service providers and help resolve conflicts.
• Promote and sell spa and salon services as well as retail merchandise.
• Prepare requisitions for supplies, products, or equipment when additional stock is needed.
• Check treatment areas and tools to make sure they meet company standards.
• Escalate spa or salon maintenance and repair requirements to Engineering.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and motivation of team members.
• Act as a positive example for colleagues and help create a productive team environment.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe workplace conditions to management.
• Follow company policies, procedures, grooming standards, and confidentiality requirements.
• Protect company property and assets and treat guest information with discretion.
• Welcome guests warmly, recognize service needs, and provide assistance to guests with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, including over the phone and in written documents.
• Maintain strong working relationships and contribute to shared team objectives.
• Support quality standards and help implement improvement or corrective action plans when needed.
• Carry out other duties assigned by supervisors.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant should have a high school diploma or GED, along with at least 2 years of related work experience. No prior supervisory experience is required, and no license or certification is specified.

Work Conditions

The role is full time and on-site in Doha, Qatar. It requires extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking, and the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
