The company has expanded to more than 100 people across the UK, US, and Europe, and supports mission-critical organizations and construction firms on major projects.

Role overview

The company is hiring Site Engineers to start right away, with openings currently in Athlone and a possible move to Limerick soon. In this position, you will act as a site/surveying engineer using augmented reality to detect and prevent construction and design issues before they turn into expensive rework.

You will work with holographic design models through the headset visor, compare them against on-site work, and identify clashes or errors in what has been installed or is being installed.

What you'll do

• Carry out day-to-day site checks using The Atom AR headset to confirm that installation work matches the BIM model.
• Use a total station to establish and move control points.
• Communicate with clients and prepare updates and reports.
• Compile inspection-based reports at the end of each day.
• Join coordination meetings with contractors to plan work for the day.
• Process and review collected data to make sure it is complete, dependable, and accurate.
• Report to the Field Operations Manager and keep inspections moving efficiently within required deadlines.
• Work with the contractor to create a weekly inspection lookahead aligned with the master construction schedule, helping reduce the risk of incorrect field installation.
• Gather and prepare the latest approved Revit models for export into HoloSite.

What we're looking for

You should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in a field engineering or surveying position, ideally with hands-on use of total stations or laser scanners. A background in construction, land surveying, civil engineering, geospatial engineering, or geodetic engineering is preferred, though not mandatory.

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, ambition, and genuine interest in emerging technology. Familiarity with 3D tools such as Revit or Navisworks, or with BIM/BIM360, is a plus but can be taught. Strong Microsoft Office skills are required.

Because of the security requirements on the projects, you must have a clean criminal record and be willing to complete background checks and drug testing.
