Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Site Engineer specializing in waterproofing, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves managing and coordinating waterproofing activities at active construction sites while making sure all work aligns with approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety requirements.

What You Will Do

• Organize and oversee daily waterproofing site operations.
• Track material consumption and ensure supplies are used efficiently.
• Supervise subcontractors and site crews during execution.
• Maintain quality standards across all waterproofing applications.
• Carry out site inspections and verify work quality against project requirements.
• Prepare and share progress updates and site reports.
• Resolve technical site issues in coordination with project stakeholders.
• Support milestone completion, project closeout, and handover documentation.
• Work closely with project managers, consultants, and clients to address site challenges.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managing site-level activities, coordinating teams, subcontractors, and materials. Clear verbal and written communication is important for working effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams. The role requires experience in quality control for waterproofing works, including inspection, testing, and documentation. A good understanding of structural details, waterproofing drawings, and specifications is necessary to ensure correct execution. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline, and any relevant certification in waterproofing or construction management will be considered an advantage. Practical exposure to waterproofing systems, materials, and installation methods in building or infrastructure projects is essential. Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental rules is also needed, along with the ability to enforce safe working practices on site. Applicants should be able to read technical drawings and use basic engineering and site reporting tools such as MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus. The job also calls for strong time management, multitasking ability, and flexibility in changing site conditions.
