Team environment

The Site Engineering team focuses on delivering safe, high-quality, and programme-compliant fit-out and finishing works on complex multi-floor projects. Working with project leaders, consultants, subcontractors, and Direct Works teams, the team coordinates activity from structural handover through final finishes and client handover. With strong technical knowledge and a safety-first approach, the team helps resolve site issues, maintain progress, and ensure the finished work matches design intent, QA/QC expectations, and project milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Check drawings and method statements to confirm the planned work is practical and clearly understood.
• Coordinate daily and weekly work with subcontractors, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Carry out site inspections on a regular basis and submit inspection requests to QA/QC.
• Monitor progress on assigned tasks and share updates with leadership.
• Work with QA/QC teams to resolve inspection remarks, non-conformances, and outstanding closure items.
• Make sure all activities follow approved drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
• Help enforce site safety procedures and ensure compliance within the work area.
• Support preparation of red-line markups and as-built records.
• Take part in short-term lookahead planning and coordination between interfaces.
• Use technical and discipline-specific knowledge to achieve quality outcomes within the assigned scope.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by management to support business needs.

Required skills and experience

• Current First Aider certification
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications
• Working knowledge of method statements, inspections, and quality records

• Awareness of safety practices and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exposure to BIM tools and document control systems
• Understanding of testing, commissioning, and handover processes
• Experience in testing, commissioning, and project closeout stages
