About the Role

Grand Hyatt The Red Sea, in partnership with Red Sea Global, is building a luxury hospitality destination in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This position plays a key role in strengthening environmental performance and supporting safe, efficient operations across the property. The role sits within the POMEC department and combines sustainability planning, compliance, reporting, and operational support.

The position is expected to support the hotel’s purpose of caring for people, while helping deliver exceptional guest experiences and responsible business practices.

Core Scope

The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety requirements for both the property and people within the POMEC department, while also supporting corrective, preventive, and routine maintenance activities, along with other departmental tasks as needed.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Create and implement sustainability plans that support the organization’s ESG goals.
  • Spot and drive opportunities to lower energy use, water consumption, waste output, and carbon emissions.
  • Own sustainability improvement initiatives from idea stage through completion.
  • Embed environmentally responsible engineering practices into design, construction, and day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain alignment with applicable local, national, and international environmental regulations.
  • Prepare ESG and sustainability documentation and reports.
  • Support measurement and reduction of the organization’s carbon footprint.
  • Monitor sustainability performance indicators and share progress updates with leadership.
  • Assist with green building certification efforts such as LEED and EARTH CHECK.
  • Handle the documentation and submission process for sustainability certifications.

  • Keep work areas clean and act in an environmentally responsible manner during all tasks.
  • Show respect for reporting lines and colleagues at all times.

  • Ensure work orders, interventions, and maintenance activities are completed on time.
