Third Key Holder

Overview

This role is suited to a warm, upbeat person who enjoys fashion retail and likes being part of a collaborative store team. The Third Key Holder supports visual presentation, merchandising, and marketing activities while helping management keep the store and stockroom running smoothly. When leaders are not present, this position takes charge of day-to-day store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for store operations when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are unavailable, including opening and closing tasks, keeping the store tidy, restocking, merchandising, customer assistance, and supervising team members.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere by engaging customers promptly, acknowledging them, and staying well-informed about products.
• Handle sales transactions at the register.
• Follow all company rules, procedures, and standards.
• Assist the Store Manager in making sure workplace standards align with the employee handbook.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned to support business needs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience is required.
• High school completion is preferred and considered an asset.
• Strong ability to sell and deliver customer service.
• Good time management and prioritization skills.
• Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable assigning tasks and taking responsibility for outcomes.
• Able to lead a team in a positive, inclusive way.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain standing for long periods and use a ladder when needed.
• Should be able to move, lift, and carry merchandise and store fixtures weighing up to 30 pounds.

Availability

Availability is needed on days, evenings, and weekends.

Compensation

The expected hourly wage for this position is between $18.45 and $18.95. The employer notes that wage information may take up to three months to reflect changes after a minimum wage update, in line with applicable minimum wage legislation.
