Role Overview
The Warehouse Clerk supports day-to-day warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and delivery functions. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to handle physical tasks, and comfort with paperwork and organized operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for outgoing shipments and production needs.
- Support replenishment activities within the distribution area.
- Keep warehouse spaces clean, orderly, and well maintained.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock tracking.
- Handle delivery driver duties when needed.
- Complete paperwork accurately and maintain attention to detail.
- Support shipping and receiving workflows.
- Lift packages weighing up to 40 lbs as part of regular duties, and up to 50 lbs as required.
- Assist with production tasks when properly trained.
- Carry out other assignments provided by management.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete forms and paperwork correctly.
- Physically capable of handling packages up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
- Forklift certification is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Willingness to obtain a DOT medical card, or already have one.
- Ability to drive a box truck, or a willingness to learn.
Education and Work Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
- Good communication skills are necessary.
- Must be able to obtain forklift certification.
