Architectural Designer

Role overview

This is a full-time, on-site Architectural Designer position in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on developing architectural ideas, layouts, and detailed construction drawings for homes, commercial spaces, and special works such as pools, gazebos, and renovation projects.

What you'll do

You will carry out site inspections and measurements, prepare design concepts and proposals, work closely with engineers and technical specialists, and make sure all designs align with local regulations and building standards. The position also includes supervising on-site design execution, checking material choices, coordinating with project managers and contractors to solve technical challenges, and helping keep quality and timelines on track.

Collaboration and documentation

You will take part in client discussions, respond to feedback, produce the required project documentation, and contribute to ongoing improvements in design practices and internal processes.

Qualifications

• A strong background in architecture and architectural design, including concept creation, planning, and the preparation of detailed drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on experience with project coordination tasks such as scheduling, stakeholder communication, progress tracking, and risk handling.
• Ability to work across disciplines and coordinate effectively with structural, MEP, and technical services teams.
• Comfort using digital design and collaboration tools such as CAD/BIM and project management software to support design and documentation workflows.
• A bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related discipline; professional registration or eligibility will be considered an advantage.
• Proficiency in standard drafting and design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or equivalent software, along with strong visualization ability.
• Knowledge of Dubai and UAE building regulations, approval procedures, and construction methods.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate in a multicultural on-site setting.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a record of producing designs that are practical, safe, and cost-efficient.
