Area Business Development Manager / Engineer

Role Overview

This position is for an Area Business Development Manager / Engineer supporting a fast-growing recruitment and management firm that is hiring on behalf of a major auto component manufacturing business with plants in Ernakulam and Pune. The role focuses on expanding business opportunities, handling customer relationships, and driving revenue growth in a contract manufacturing environment.

What the Role Involves

• Create new business opportunities and generate qualified leads.
• Handle the full sales process from first contact through to deal closure.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Prepare proposals and commercial offers aligned to customer needs.
• Support price discussions, commercial negotiations, and final contract closure.
• Manage existing accounts and work on growth opportunities within them.
• Improve customer retention through regular engagement and service follow-up.
• Manage customer RFQs and coordinate contract negotiation discussions.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have sales experience in contract manufacturing, particularly in auto components or electronics. Strong communication skills are essential, along with fluency in Hindi, Marathi, and English. A technical or management degree is preferred for this role.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech / MBA qualification, with a background in sales related to contract manufacturing.

Education

B.Tech / B.E. in any specialization

Compensation

The offered annual package is in the range of INR 5,00,000 to INR 7,00,000.
