Associate Designer

Role summary

This position partners with design leaders to develop and bring to life concepts for candle, soap, and body care accessory product lines. The work spans the full process from early concepting to final handoff, with an emphasis on seasonal relevance, brand consistency, and commercially viable design solutions.

Key responsibilities

You will create fresh, brand-aligned design concepts that support seasonal themes and the broader business direction. The role includes researching market and fashion trends, translating consumer insights into product ideas, sketching rapidly for early concept review, and contributing to both 2D and 3D product development. You will work across multiple materials and fabrication methods, refine product samples with development partners, prepare design turn overs for production, and collaborate with packaging engineers and vendors to balance aesthetics, manufacturability, and cost goals.

Tools and technical focus

This role requires hands-on use of 3D design tools and digital artwork software, along with familiarity with product visualization and sample refinement. Experience with ZBrush is especially important, and the work also involves Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Suite, and KeyShot. A working understanding of pressed and blown glass, metal stamping and finishing, ceramic casting, and resin molding/casting is useful for the position.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in design or a related design discipline is required, along with 3 years of professional experience. The role also calls for at least 1 year of hands-on experience with ZBrush, Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator, 2D hand sketching, 3D product design, and KeyShot.
