Job Overview
The Batcher role in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania focuses on preparing and blending the correct ingredients to produce finished syrup for bottling, canning, and premix/post-mix production. Work is planned according to the number of cases and tanks scheduled each shift.
Schedule
This is a full-time onsite position. The standard workweek is Monday through Friday, with Sundays worked as needed. Typical hours are:
- Monday: 4:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- Tuesday to Friday: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required based on scheduling needs.
Key Duties
- Manage the syrup supply flowing to production lines.
- Measure, mix, and combine ingredients to produce different batches.
- Adjust and set machine or equipment settings for operation.
- Carry out quality inspections as needed.
- Complete sanitation tasks.
- Track and manage ingredient inventory.
- Receive sugar deliveries and monitor usage and control.
- Keep accurate production and operational records.
- Drive and operate a forklift truck.
- Work in line with company policies and safety requirements.
Compensation and Total Rewards
The pay for this position is $26.00 per hour.
