Role overview
Journey Beyond is seeking a Content Coordinator to help craft and coordinate storytelling across a wide mix of brands, channels, and formats. The position is based in Adelaide and sits within a fast-moving marketing environment where content plays a key role in both brand building and commercial outcomes.
In this role, you will work closely with the Editorial and Content Manager and the wider marketing teams to create polished copy for social, digital, print, and editorial use. You will also help keep the group content library organised, support the production of Journey Beyond Magazine, and contribute to the team’s social media output across Instagram and Facebook.
Journey Beyond is an experiential tourism business operating 20 brands across Australia and New Zealand, with offerings spanning iconic rail journeys, outback travel, lodges, marine experiences, scenic attractions, coach touring, and tourism operations.
What you will do
- Assist the Editorial and Content Manager with writing tasks for brochures, itineraries, and other marketing materials.
- Help coordinate content for the company’s YouTube presence, including uploading, titling, tagging, playlist organisation, and SEO-friendly publishing support.
- Handle day-to-day scheduling and publishing for Journey Beyond Group social channels, with a focus on Instagram and Facebook.
- Support the planning and delivery of Journey Beyond Magazine through each stage of production.
- Gather and review performance data from social, digital, and campaign activity to help inform future content decisions.

The ideal candidate will bring strong writing ability, a keen eye for detail, and the confidence to adapt tone and style for different brands, audiences, and platforms. You should understand how content contributes to brand growth and customer engagement, and be comfortable balancing multiple projects at once.
This position suits someone who enjoys the craft of writing, is organised and collaborative, and can remain calm under pressure while working to deadlines.

Additional requirements
Successful applicants must be able to provide a current National Police Clearance. A pre-employment medical may also be required.
