The firm is a recognised specialist in project management, serving public and private sector organisations on more than 8,000 major projects across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East. Its work covers local and international assignments, including significant activity in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, where the business continues to invest heavily.

About the opportunity
TBH is hiring a Contract Manager for its Riyadh team. This is a chance to strengthen your profile by applying specialist capability in contract management, claims and dispute resolution on a large, complex project.
The position is based onsite and sits within a contractor project team, where you will provide commercial, contractual and claims support throughout the entire project lifecycle. Because of the project setting and client environment, prior Middle East project exposure is required.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced consultant-level professional with strong technical knowledge in contract management, claims and dispute resolution. You should bring solid industry understanding, commercial judgement and the ability to contribute high-level technical advice, handle complex outputs and help drive successful project results.
Working alongside Project Managers, clients and other stakeholders, you will support project delivery while keeping commercial, contractual and operational needs aligned. You will also help mentor junior colleagues and contribute to building broader team capability.
TBH is seeking someone who enjoys working with a variety of stakeholders, is self-motivated, and shows proactive leadership when solving problems and responding to project needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide contract management, claims and dispute resolution support, including contract administration tasks such as preparing contracts and validating progress claims.
- Offer advice on time and cost clauses, specifications, and wider commercial and contractual matters.
- Assess contractual rights, delays, variations and related cost effects, including review of delay mitigation options and corrective actions.
- Evaluate the financial impact of delays and scope changes to support commercially robust recommendations.
- Produce strong client-facing outputs such as reports, claims records and commercial assessments, with a focus on accuracy, clarity and readiness for client questions.
- Review complex information from multiple sources and present conclusions in formats that support project director input and decision-making.
- Develop and sustain effective client and stakeholder relationships through clear communication and a consistently high professional standard.
- Lead and support project teams to achieve key milestones and successful project delivery.
Requirements
- A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in quantity surveying, engineering, construction management or a closely related field.
- At least 5 years of post-graduate experience.
- Demonstrated Middle East project experience in construction, infrastructure or other major project settings.
- Background in a specialised claims or expert witness consultancy.
- Prior experience working on the contractor side is essential.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, commercial management and claims processes.
- Professional status such as MRICS or MCIArb.
- Experience in client-facing roles.
- Understanding of delay analysis methods.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, CostX and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Advanced ability in data handling and analysis.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
