Role Overview
As a remote Customer Service Representative, you will be the main point of contact for patients, healthcare providers, and the company. Your work will center on delivering courteous support, answering questions, coordinating appointments, and helping patients navigate the healthcare services offered.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming questions from customers quickly and in a professional manner through phone, email, or chat.
- Share clear and accurate details about Esperta Health’s healthcare offerings and wound care services.
- Arrange, change, and verify patient appointments in an efficient way.
- Record conversations and keep patient information current in electronic systems with accuracy.
- Work closely with clinical and billing teams to support smooth patient service.
- Resolve customer concerns or escalate them when needed so issues are addressed promptly.
- Follow HIPAA and other privacy rules at all times.
- Take on additional administrative duties as needed to support remote operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required; additional education in healthcare or a related subject is a plus.
- Prior customer service experience is expected, ideally in a healthcare or medical environment.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills are necessary.
- Good organization and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote setting are important.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems are required.
- Ability to protect confidential information and follow HIPAA guidelines closely.
- Self-driven, dependable, and comfortable working independently with limited supervision.
- Experience using remote communication tools and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
