Data Analyst (Excel)

Position Overview

This contract role is for a Data Analyst who will work remotely in the United Kingdom. The assignment is designed for a flexible workload of 10 to 40 hours each week and offers hourly compensation between $40 and $55.

What You’ll Do

• Use Microsoft Excel to examine data thoroughly and turn the results into practical business insights that support decisions.
• Work closely with stakeholders to clarify information needs and shape analyses around those requirements.
• Inspect, clean, and verify datasets so they remain accurate, consistent, and reliable.
• Create straightforward reports and visual outputs that explain findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Spot patterns, irregularities, and opportunities within large or complex datasets and use those observations to support strategic work.
• Record the approach used, the outcomes produced, and the recommendations made with careful attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For

• Background in data analysis within a business setting, with Microsoft Excel as the main working tool.
• High precision and strong focus on detail when handling, checking, and reporting data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical conclusions clearly.
• Comfort working with cross-functional teams and contributing to shared business objectives.
• Good command of Excel features, including formulas, functions, and visualization capabilities.

Additional Information
