About the role
Winaxis LLC is seeking a Data Analyst to join its data team in the United States. In this position, you will own master data management, build reporting outputs, and resolve data-related issues. The role calls for strong attention to detail, hands-on experience in data analysis, and a solid grasp of commonly used analytics tools and database systems.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain master data by handling additions, updates, and removals.
- Administer user access and role-based permissions.
- Check imported data for accuracy and coordinate with quality assurance teams when needed.
- Oversee the commissioning and retirement of data sets.
- Handle sensitive information in line with required guidelines.
- Build, support, and refine reports and analytical outputs.
- Set up and manage the reporting environment, including data sources, security controls, and metadata.
- Assist the data warehouse team in updating reporting needs.
- Contribute to data integrity and normalization efforts.
- Evaluate test results, support software upgrades, and help inform strategic system decisions.
- Create reports from one or multiple systems as required.
- Investigate and resolve issues in reporting databases and generated reports.
- Review changes in source production systems and assess their impact.
- Train end users on dashboards and new reporting tools.
- Provide technical input on data storage design, data mining, and data cleansing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science.
- Prior work experience as a data analyst or in a similar role.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to identify and assess risks.
- Skill in reviewing existing tools and databases and recommending software solutions.
- Capability to explain business requirements in clear, non-technical language.
- Strong understanding of large-scale database management practices and processes.
- Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
- Knowledge of addressing and metadata standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
