Role overview
Insight Global is hiring a Data Analyst to support reporting, automation, and fulfillment work tied to customer journeys and mutual fund operations, with a strong emphasis on the Canadian market. The position is centered on reducing manual effort, strengthening data quality, and helping reporting functions move into a more automated operating model.
What you will do
- Streamline reporting and fulfillment workflows by replacing manual steps with automated solutions.
- Develop, improve, and support reporting outputs using SAS, SQL, and Salesforce data.
- Assist with journey reporting, including Journey Builder technical specifications and fulfillment-related reporting.
- Carry out detailed QA checks on data sets, reports, and automated processes to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Create and maintain dashboards and visual summaries using tools such as BB Visualizer, TD Visualizer, PowerBI, and Tableau where relevant.
- Record data movement, technical details, and reporting logic in Confluence.
- Provide reporting support while mutual fund reporting and automation are being transitioned into the OLB process.
- Work with journey teams to document the technology stack and clarify reporting needs.
- Support Canadian journey initiatives and mutual fund carry activities across the team’s analytics work.
Skills and experience needed
- Advanced SAS and SQL skills, including joins, unions, and macros.
- Practical experience with Salesforce for reporting and automation use cases.
- Hands-on experience automating reports and data workflows.
- Strong quality assurance and data validation capability with a sharp eye for detail.
- Experience helping teams move from manual processes to automated ones.
Preferred background
- Exposure to Power BI.
- Experience in fintech or financial services.
- Python experience for automation tasks.
- Ability to build dashboards in Tableau and Excel.
- Familiarity with BB Visualizer or TD Visualizer.
- Knowledge of mutual fund operations, fulfillment, or reporting.
- Experience documenting technical workflows and data pipelines in Confluence.
