Data Analyst

Overview

A talented Data Analyst is needed right away for a 6-month contract assignment with the possibility of extension. The role is based remotely in the United States. This position is tied to the healthcare industry and supports data-focused initiatives for a provider environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay rate for this assignment is $41 to $46 per hour. Eligible employees may receive benefits that can include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid sick leave, depending on work location.

Key Responsibilities

The analyst will work on enterprise data workflows, reporting, and issue resolution while helping improve data quality and process efficiency.

• Review, process, and analyze large-scale enterprise datasets.
• Build, refine, and support SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports.
• Carry out data checks, quality testing, and investigation of root causes.
• Assist with ETL jobs and broader data integration work.
• Diagnose production data problems and correct mismatched records.
• Use scheduling platforms to automate recurring batch jobs.
• Partner with business and technical teams on provider data programs.
• Take part in implementation work and ongoing process enhancement efforts.
• Maintain consistency, integrity, and accuracy across connected systems.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and increase automation.

Requirements

The role calls for solid technical depth, strong analytical ability, and the capacity to operate in a fast-moving environment.

• At least 4 years of experience in data analysis or a related IT role.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, data validation, ETL workflows, analysis, and reporting.
• Practical experience in data manipulation and data mining.
• Background in troubleshooting live data issues in production settings.
• Strong communication skills and structured problem-solving ability.
• Excellent attention to detail and comfort working under pressure.
• Experience with provider data or healthcare-related data is preferred.
• Exposure to cloud-based production environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools such as ActiveBatch or Control-M.
• Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, C#, or Java.
• Experience contributing to or leading project implementations.
• High School Diploma or GED.
