Qualifications and driving standards

• You must be at least 18 years old
• A valid driver's license is required
• At least 2 years of verifiable driving experience is needed
• A steady work history is preferred
• Must satisfy company screening rules related to motor vehicle records, DOT, CSA, and/or criminal background checks
• Experience transporting food or beverages is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs frequently
• Must be able to safely operate a vehicle in tight spaces and heavy traffic

Driving history requirements

• Applicants who are 18 years old must show at least 2 years of driving history immediately before the MVR review date
• Applicants who are 19 years old must show at least 1 year of driving history immediately before the MVR review date
• Only officially documented learner's permit time may be counted toward driving history, and a formal driver's license is required

Driving record restrictions

• No more than 2 driving-related violations in the 2 years before the MVR review date
• No more than 3 driving-related violations in the 3 years before the MVR review date
• No more than 1 at-fault accident in the 3 years before the MVR review date
• Applicants cannot have any of the following: leaving the scene of an accident, hit and run, reckless driving, driving violations involving drugs or alcohol, vehicular homicide or assault, unlawful racing and exhibition driving, or eluding/attempting to elude an officer
