Delivery Driver

Overview

Black and Gold Logistics, a FedEx Ground delivery contractor, is looking for reliable drivers for full-time and part-time routes across Oconee County, South Carolina. All deliveries begin from the company’s Anderson terminal. This role is ideal for someone who is safety-focused, dependable, and interested in steady, year-round work.

What the role involves

• Complete package deliveries safely along assigned Oconee County routes.
• Load, scan, and handle parcels carefully throughout the route.
• Represent the company with courteous and professional customer service.

Schedule

• Both full-time and part-time openings are available.
• The operation runs six days a week, and schedules are typically 5 or 6 days per week.
• Shifts are 10 hours long and include weekends.
• Work is steady throughout the year.
• Part-time schedules are coordinated with management, and preference is given to drivers with more seniority and route capability.

Pay and growth

• Training is paid at $10.00 per hour and usually lasts 5 days or less.
• After training, earnings are typically around $160 to $180 per day, including bonuses.
• Drivers in smaller trucks are compensated per stop.
• High-performing city-route drivers can earn about $190 to $200 per day by completing extra stops and qualifying for bonuses.

Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 21 years old, as required for FedEx Ground routes.
• A clean driving history is required.

• Availability for most of December is required.
