Role overview

Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting two Band 5 Employee Relations Advisors to join a newly established Employee Relations function. One post is for 37.5 hours per week and the other is for 22.5 hours per week.

The role will support the delivery of the core employee relations service model, which is due to come into effect from 1 July 2026 across the Stockport and Tameside HR departments.

You will play an important part in building a high-quality HR advisory service and will be expected to bring a strong values-led approach, a commitment to fairness, and a focus on improvement and service excellence.

Working alongside Senior ER Advisors and the ER Manager, you will help provide a proactive and responsive HR service to divisional leaders, line managers, and staff across the organisation.

  • Assisting Senior ER Advisors with disciplinary, capability, and grievance cases.
  • Supporting organisational change and restructure activity.
  • Contributing to HR policy development and updates.
