Role Summary

Due to ongoing expansion, Aspect Aluminium is seeking a driven Estimator to join its team in Swansea. This opportunity suits someone with prior estimating experience in construction, glazing, windows and doors, façades, or a closely related field who wants to grow their career in a steadily expanding business.

The position involves building quotations for varied projects, checking technical drawings and specifications, coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers, and meeting clients in the showroom to explain options and guide product selection.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce precise quotations and cost estimates for residential and commercial glazing work.
• Examine architectural drawings, technical specifications, and tender documentation.
• Create schedules for windows and doors.
• Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers on pricing and technical needs.
• Meet customers in the Swansea showroom to understand project requirements and offer product advice.
• Support homeowners, builders, architects, and developers throughout the quotation stage.
• Help with project handover once orders are confirmed.
• Keep quotation files and supporting records accurate and up to date.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring prior estimating experience from construction, glazing, windows and doors, façades, or a similar sector. You should be comfortable reading technical drawings, working with numbers, and spotting detail accurately.

Strong communication and customer service skills are important, along with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Familiarity with aluminium glazing systems is beneficial, though not required, as training will be provided.
