Role Overview

KAYRA Design Studio is hiring an Estimator to prepare precise project costing for interior fit-out, joinery, MEP, and civil scope of work in Dubai. The role involves reviewing tender packages, coordinating with internal teams and vendors, and building reliable estimates that support competitive pricing and successful negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build accurate cost estimates across interior fit-out, joinery, MEP, and civil projects.
• Review tender papers, drawings, and BOQs to develop pricing.
• Request and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare detailed cost analyses and propose value engineering options where suitable.
• Liaise with design and project teams to resolve technical queries before pricing.
• Monitor budgets, assess cost changes, and assist with final commercial discussions.
• Keep an updated reference database for material, labor, and subcontractor pricing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of estimation experience in Dubai’s interior fit-out or joinery industry.
• Good understanding of materials, finishes, and current Dubai market pricing.
• Hands-on ability with MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools/software.
• Strong analytical ability and careful attention to detail.
