About the Role

This is a prominent position within the Finance and Transformation directorate, where you will support the CFO and the wider leadership group. The focus of the role is to keep operations organised, coordinate priorities, and ensure important actions are progressed at the right time.

The environment is busy and varied, with a high level of visibility across the business. You will contribute to critical moments, help different teams stay aligned, and handle work that changes from day to day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer concerns on behalf of senior leaders and make sure responses are timely and completed through to resolution.
  • Partner with Internal Communications to help deliver a consistent stream of directorate updates that fit broader company messaging.
  • Monitor compliance-related activity and notable achievements across the directorate to keep progress on track.
  • Draft and submit reports when required, maintaining a strong eye for accuracy and detail.
  • Organise demanding calendars and coordinate meetings and events for the Director and Leadership Team.
  • Ensure the Director’s office operates smoothly by bringing order to multiple competing priorities.
  • Assist with projects and take ownership of some initiatives when needed to move work forward.
  • Develop productive relationships with external contacts and ensure follow-up communication is handled effectively.
  • Connect stakeholders across the Leadership Team to support joined-up decision-making.
  • Arrange and deliver both virtual and in-person events, ranging from team meetings to larger group sessions.
  • Create clear, accurate minutes and notes from meetings.
  • Look for practical ways to streamline and improve ways of working, including opportunities to automate tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with key business partners so delivery stays coordinated and aligned.

  • Confidence in resolving problems and navigating business processes.
  • Experience delivering results in a large or complex organisation.
  • Previous work as an Executive Assistant or in a comparable senior support role.
