Role overview
This position is based in Mumbai and focuses on managing channel partners efficiently to improve walk-ins, booking volumes, sales revenue, unit sales, and collections for the assigned project(s), all within budget and timeline expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver sales value and unit volume outcomes in line with the assigned targets, where sales are measured as net order book.
- Meet the planned pace of bookings each month through the assigned channels, while contributing to site-level margin and overall performance targets.
- Improve the conversion efficiency of walk-ins and closures at the site, and continuously monitor these metrics.
- Build and expand new channels to widen and deepen the distribution pipeline.
- Track competitor movements closely in the relevant micro-market and share timely market feedback.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to strengthen channel activity and customer experience at the site.
- Plan and roll out site-level plans and, where needed, initiate below-the-line activities.
Strategic focus
- Place strong emphasis on channel development and build long-term partnerships across the region.
- Act as the key connector between channels and closure managers to drive higher walk-in traffic.
- Assess and improve channel-sales effectiveness across each site through smart identification, development, and allocation of channels.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of meetings and completed activities.
- Recommend and implement approaches that keep the right customer segments flowing to the assigned project sites through multiple channels.
Operational responsibilities
- Handle all channel-related trackers and review processes.
- Develop both direct and non-traditional channel sources.
Development and planning
- Create and execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly action plans for each assigned project in coordination with the Marketing team to drive effective walk-ins and closures.
- Support knowledge management efforts.
- Design outreach and development activities for channels.
- Identify knowledge gaps and arrange appropriate training plans.
Internal and external interactions
Internal stakeholders include Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Finance teams. External interactions involve corporates, HNI clients, brokers, property consultants, customers, and service partners.
Eligibility and experience
A full-time BE or MBA is required. The role calls for a proven record of achieving sales targets through a network of channel partners, along with experience in onboarding high-performing channel partners. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach are essential.
