Finance Expert

Role overview

This is an hourly contract role for a finance specialist working remotely. The position pays between $30 and $40 per hour and may require anywhere from 10 to 40 hours of work each week.

Core responsibilities

• Review financial information presented through images and videos, maintaining a very high standard of accuracy and close attention to detail.
• Create advanced finance-related questions that are tailored to the subject matter and supported by both visual and contextual cues.
• Sort and label content so it can be routed correctly and handled efficiently within the workflow.
• Work alongside subject matter experts from different functions to keep the content accurate, useful, and relevant.
• Track changes in the financial industry and updates to regulations so they can be reflected in the content being developed.
• Refine question quality over time by incorporating feedback and performance results.
• Make sure all output follows applicable financial regulations and internal quality benchmarks.

Required background

• Deep experience in financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting.
• Strong command of Excel and financial reporting software or tools.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, accounting fundamentals, and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience in cost optimization and technology-led business settings.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability with a sharp eye for detail.
• Clear written and spoken communication skills for developing complex content.
• Ability to handle projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and meet deadlines reliably.

Work arrangement

This is a remote contract position based in the United States.
