Role overview
Ansco & Associates, LLC is looking for a Flagger I to help keep traffic moving safely around active work zones. In this role, you will support public safety by directing vehicles and pedestrians while assisting with traffic-control tasks at job sites.

Key duties
- Direct traffic around active worksites using hand signals and traffic paddles
- Set out and prepare flags, cones, signs, and other marker materials
- Support general construction activities when directed by a Foreman or Supervisor
- Operate vehicles responsibly and comply with company safe-driving expectations
- Follow applicable DOT rules at the local, state, and federal levels
- Keep company vehicles and equipment clean and in good working order
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Take on additional tasks as needed
Required qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for this employer
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Valid state driver’s license that is not provisional, along with a satisfactory driving record
- Prior flagging experience is preferred
Physical demands
- Regularly work alone in remote locations
- Regularly operate a vehicle and perform bending, stooping, squeezing, standing, walking, stair climbing, lifting 10 to 25 pounds, and fine hand movements
- Regularly use a keyboard and mouse
- Occasionally work with arms above shoulder level, climb stairs, and lift 26 to 55 pounds
