Role Overview
This contract opportunity is for a Frontend Developer focused on building user-facing web applications with Vue.js, while also working with React where needed. The assignment is remote and expects a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours.
Compensation
Pay is set at $30 to $70 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Create and support fast, scalable frontend features using Vue.js and React.
- Partner with UI/UX designers to turn wireframes and mockups into polished, responsive interfaces.
- Build reusable UI components and frontend libraries that can be used across projects.
- Improve application performance, scalability, and compatibility across browsers.
- Review code, exchange development best practices, and guide teammates when needed.
- Coordinate with backend engineers to connect APIs and deliver seamless product experiences.
Requirements
- Strong practical knowledge of JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
- Demonstrated professional experience developing complex applications with Vue.js.
- Hands-on production experience using React.
- Good command of CSS and SCSS, along with responsive web design techniques.
- Familiarity with contemporary frontend build tools and version control, such as Webpack and Git.
